of the month, at the Pocono Township Municipal Building.

The HJP Park and Open Space Commission is a progressive Commission. The commission has a combined population of over 27,700. The Commission was created with assistance of a peer grant from PA state DCNR in 2006 with a focus of implementing the HJP Open Space and Recreation Plan, developing a regional park and offering park and recreation services to participating townships. Other services will be provided initially by the existing staff of the municipalities.
